The Petal Collection is crafted with individually hand-painted silk rose petals, each artwork featuring between 200 to 400 petals meticulously arranged on canvas. Every piece is a celebration of texture, color, and form — and can be customized to perfectly complement any space with bespoke colors and designs.

The inspiration for the Petal Collection began with my wedding in 2018. As part of our ceremony, my husband and I included a traditional Persian “sofreh aghd” — an elegant wedding spread featuring symbolic items representing prosperity, love, and joy, traditionally displayed on a beautifully adorned table during the marriage ceremony.

We chose a glass table for our sofreh and I envisioned loose rose petals scattered beneath the glass. However, my husband felt it was wasteful and unkind to sacrifice dozens of fresh roses for a single day. He encouraged me to seek out an alternative. After an exhaustive search for petals that looked and felt authentic — maintaining the delicate shape and structure of real rose petals — I finally found a set made of silk that met my standards. I ordered so many that I ended up with a surplus.

After the wedding, inspired by the beauty and potential of these leftover petals, I decided to incorporate them into one of my paintings. That experiment blossomed into what is now my signature collection — the Petal Collection — and it remains one of my most commissioned series to this day.
